Design Ideas, The Famous New Yorker Covers

Founded in 1925, The New Yorker is an American periodical that publishes fiction, essays, satirical cartoons, poems, and political and social articles about the New York community. Over the years, it has achieved so much success that it has attracted the attention of cities near the metropolis first, and then the rest of the world.
The magazine is currently published forty-seven times a year, with five of its issues covering a two-week period, and each cover is named with the date of its release, an element that will become a trademark. The periodical soon becomes an object of "design" thanks to the great mastery of the illustrators who over the years have contributed to creating covers as if they were new works of art... among them, Peter Arno, Charles Barsotti, George Booth, George Price, Charles Saxon, David Snell, Otto Soglow, Art Spiegelman, Saul Steinberg, William Steig, James Thurber, Richard Decker and Gahan Wilson and even the Italians Fortunato Depero and Lorenzo Mattotti.

The Mercante di Stampe in the catalog offers a large selection of the most famous covers , why not think of them for the decoration of your home, for the living room, the kitchen or the bedroom... or, give them as a gift for a friend's birthday, with the month and year of his birth? It will certainly be a one-of-a-kind surprise.
